My Record

Private to you while you are living. Nothing here is shared.

What happens to what you write

What you write here is private to you while you are living. After you pass, once the waiting period ends (at least 6 months after your passing is confirmed), the people you named receive it with the rest of your record, in your own words and dated.

Write something of your own

Fields marked with * are required.

A memory, a story, a recipe with its history, a message to someone. There is no question to answer here.

Rather speak than type? Your device's own dictation can type your answer as you talk. How?
  • iPhone and iPad: tap the microphone on the keyboard.
  • Android: tap the microphone on the keyboard.
  • Windows: press the Windows key and H.
  • Mac: turn on Dictation in System Settings, Keyboard, then press the shortcut shown there (often the Fn or globe key twice).

Your device turns your words into text before anything reaches us. We never receive your voice.

A year, or how old you were, is fine, such as "1972" or "when I was about ten".

You are making this agreement with D2X Enterprises LLC, which provides ToldForward as a service.

Confirm privately, in your own words

Some choices are yours alone. Please ask anyone helping you to step away for a moment. No one else will see what you write here.

For example: "I am making this for my grandchildren. I chose the people who receive it myself."

        Confirm it is you
